Security begins with clear boundaries.

Terenval is designed to keep wallet control on your device, make requests visible before approval, and explain where third-party infrastructure is involved.

01 · Local control

Your wallet vault stays on your device.

Terenval is a self-custody wallet. Sensitive wallet material is stored in an encrypted local vault in your browser profile and unlocked on your device using your wallet password.

Keys are not custody

Terenval does not hold your private keys on your behalf or control the assets associated with them.

Password stays meaningful

Your password protects the local wallet vault. Terenval cannot retrieve it or bypass it for you.

02 · Explicit approvals

Requests should be visible before anything is signed.

When a supported dApp requests a connection or signature, Terenval presents relevant context for review. You decide whether to approve or reject the request.

  • Confirm the requesting origin.
  • Check the selected account and network.
  • Read transaction and permission details.
  • Reject anything unexpected or unclear.

03 · Security boundaries

Self-custody does not remove every risk.

Terenval can help present requests clearly, but it cannot guarantee that a dApp, token, smart contract, RPC provider, or website is trustworthy. Blockchain transactions may be irreversible.

Terenval can

Apply local vault encryption and present supported requests through visible approval flows.

Terenval cannot

Reverse transactions, recover lost secrets, or make third-party services risk-free.

04 · Safe practices

Your habits are part of the security model.

    Keep recovery information offline

    Never enter it into websites, forms, chats, cloud notes, or support messages.

    Use a trusted browser profile

    Keep the operating system and browser updated and avoid unknown extensions.

    Verify every destination

    Check domains, addresses, networks, and transaction details before approval.

Report a security concern

Tell us privately and include only what is safe to share.

Send a clear description, affected version, and reproduction steps to support@terenval.com. Never send recovery phrases, private keys, or passwords.
